Enum Class Quadrant

java.lang.Object
java.lang.Enum<Quadrant>
nz.org.riskscape.engine.geo.Quadrant
All Implemented Interfaces:
Serializable, Comparable<Quadrant>, Constable

public enum Quadrant extends Enum<Quadrant>

Represents the four relative locations of rectangles formed by bisecting another rectangle along the X and Y axis.

Here mostly to simplify/clarify the quad logic in various geometry algorithms

    • values

      public static Quadrant[] values()
      Returns an array containing the constants of this enum class, in the order they are declared.
      Returns:
      an array containing the constants of this enum class, in the order they are declared
    • valueOf

      public static Quadrant valueOf(String name)
      Returns the enum constant of this class with the specified name. The string must match exactly an identifier used to declare an enum constant in this class. (Extraneous whitespace characters are not permitted.)
      Parameters:
      name - the name of the enum constant to be returned.
      Returns:
      the enum constant with the specified name
      Throws:
      IllegalArgumentException - if this enum class has no constant with the specified name
      NullPointerException - if the argument is null
    • partition

      public static EnumMap<Quadrant,org.locationtech.jts.geom.Envelope> partition(org.locationtech.jts.geom.Envelope envelope)

      Partition the given envelope in to four new ones defined by the corners and centre of the given one, such that the union of all four is the given one, without any intersection.

    • getCoordinate

      public org.locationtech.jts.geom.Coordinate getCoordinate(org.locationtech.jts.geom.Envelope envelope)
    • getVertical

      public HalfPlane getVertical()
    • getHorizontal

      public HalfPlane getHorizontal()
